Couples often look for different ways to include your guests in remembering their Wedding Day. Couples may keep the photographer around for the dinner and have them take pictures of guests as they arrive, or take pictures of each table during dinner. Years ago couples used to leave a throw away camera on each table and encourage people to take pics. While this may have been somewhat successful, if have noticed there are new options that you may like to consider.
- The couple gets a picture of themselves printed on an oversized photo mat. Guests are then invited to sign their names to the mat.
- Couples invite guests to write a short note of advise, blessings or best wishes to them and they are put in a ‘time capsule’
- Guests are invited to take an ‘Instamatic’ picture of themselves and put it in a photo album along with their names and best wishes
- Guests are invited to put their ‘finger print’ in an album along with their names and best wishes.
While this may not have as much meaning in the near future, when you are celebrating your 10th or 25th anniversary, the pictures and blessings will have special meaning as guest or family members may no longer be with us. Whichever of these options you choose, its entirely up to you.
