The past few years couples have become more eco-friendly with weddings as well as cost friendly. This has led many weddings to go almost paperless. Couples have done away with invitations in envelopes, with reply envelopes, and fancy cover envelopes….this also does away with the cost of postage. Couples build their own personalized website. Guests are invited and are able to respond as to if they are attending, any diet restrictions. Maps of locations and transportation available, overnight accommodations, pre and after wedding ideas if the ceremony is out of town etc. can also be included. Perhaps you would like to post pictures from showers or pre-wedding parties and allow guests to post their pics as well. This trend just might be the RSVP of the future.
